Greetings from the city of Anaheim, the next great location for the BDSN Family Reunion. California is the perfect place for us to gather together and enjoy the blessings God has given to this family. Can't you already feel the warm sun, the cool breezes off the Pacific Ocean and the delightful aroma of Southern Californian cuisine? Your California-based family will be waiting for you with open arms on the travel date - Wednesday, August 6, 2008 (or Sunday, August 3, 2008 if you are taking advantage of the extra days before the reunion). Time will pass quickly, so start planning your trip to California today! The following information will help you to plan a great reunion trip. Mark Your Calendar The reunion dates for 2008 are Wednesday, August 6 (travel date) through Sunday, August 10. For those who wish to experience the West Coast and sightsee, we encourage you to plan to arrive on the early date, Sunday, August 3. We have planned a wonderful time for all. Please refer to the attached calendar of events so you can see what's in store for you.
Website In an effort to increase communication within the family, we have established a website on the Internet. This web site is customized for our family and includes all information needed for the California reunion. Take a look at our web page online at www.BDSNFamily.MyEvent.com. The site includes space for us to show pictures, exchange contact information, register for the reunion, pay reunion fees, book sightseeing tours, view hotel information, and review air travel arrangements. Check it out! This website will prove to be a useful tool and a lot of fun. Please help keep our costs down! You can help us keep our costs down by using the Family Reunion Website. We are asking everyone to please send us your email address so that we can keep mailing and copying costs at a minimum. You will get all our communications 1 to 2 weeks faster than regular mail. And you will be able to get the latest news and updates for the reunion. So please help us out by sending in your email address. You can do this through the website on the Contact Us page. You will qualify for a discount of $20 off each registrant’s fee by registering as group of 10 or more people. You can register with other family or friends to make up a group of 10 people. The fee includes the Welcome Bag and Information Packet at Registration when you arrive, Reunion t-shirts, refreshments in the Hospitality Room, Family Picnic, and the Family Banquet and Talent Show. Registration fees do not include hotel rooms, airfare, transportation to and from the airport or any extra sightseeing tours. Making Payments Please make all checks or money orders payable to BDSN Family 2008. Or you may use the website to pay the full registration amount by credit card. Please note that all online payments include an 8% administration fee and a $0.35 fee per transaction. Optional Events and Tours
See pages 6 and 7 for information on the optional events and tours that are arranged during the reunion week. For some tours, there will be an additional fee to cover bus transportation and/or a meal. These tours are optional. There is no obligation to attend.
If you do wish to join the family on any tours, please be sure to sign up early because the tours will be limited and reservations are first come, first served. We will try our best to accommodate everyone, but last minute reservations will depend upon any openings available after registration has closed. So sign up early!

Air Transportation
We have negotiated with American Airlines for a discount rate for the Family Reunion. This will allow you to book your flight from your home airport to John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California using the family discount. Please click on the TRAVEL link to see details on the American Airlines discount plan.
Also other airlines have group rate discounts if you have a minimum number of 10 people traveling together on one flight. You do not need a contract or group ID for this discount. Airport Shuttle
We are negotiating a family discount rate with a shuttle service to bring you from the John Wayne Airport to your hotel at the Disneyland Resort area. Shuttle transportation within the resort is available in the area so there is no need for rental cars.
Hotel Accommodations
The Anabella Hotel in Anaheim is our official reunion hotel. Please click on the TRAVEL link to view details on rate and how to reserve your hotel room for the reunion.
Everything is in walking distance from our hotel. There is a free city-run shuttle service that runs frequently throughout the day if you wish to explore the city of Anaheim. There are other attractions to see, shopping and restaurants of all levels at Downtown Disney and in the surrounding area that is also accessible by shuttle. How to Register
