Happy 86th & 80th Birthday for Maurice and Katie HillA wonderful birthday celebration was held in honor of the 80th birthday for Katie Sturdivant Hill and the 86th birthday for her husband, Maurice Hill, on Saturday, October 14, 2006. It was held at the MCL Cafeteria in Indianapolis, Indiana well attended by family and close friends. The Master and Mistress of Ceremony for the evening were close friends Hollis Thomas and Sharon Thompson. They regaled us with stories about Katie and Maurice related from sisters and brothers, friends and other relatives. A prayer was offered by their daughter, Minister Carol Alsbrooks. And we all enjoyed a beautiful vocal selection by Pastor Tommy Hill. Happy Birthday, Katie and Maurice!
